UPDATES ON THE VIRTUAL BRONCO GALLOP, SCHOOL YEARBOOK & MORE!
Posted 1/21/21

Hello Bronco Families-

I am excited to share with you some upcoming events.  Please view each flyer in its entirety for all the information you will need to participate by clicking on the links.

Virtual Bronco Gallop

The VIRTUAL 2021 Bronco Gallop is coming January 25th-February 5th!  Videos should be 15 seconds or less and demonstrate Bronco SPIRIT while exercising.  Two student videos will be chosen per class: “Most Spirited” and “Most Creative.” Winners will be featured in the Virtual Bronco Gallop Feature Film.

Donations received from this event will be used to purchase supplies teachers need to continue providing high quality instruction to our Brookvale students.

Parents/guardians may submit eligible photos of participants to the Yearbook Coordinator here: https://forms.gle/nRE1MFivXErVzYTE9

Reimagine Brookvale 2020-2021 Yearbook

Yearbook Photo Submission Deadline March 1st.

This yearbook will be very different from previous yearbooks. In past years, working with Lifetouch, there was always a format to follow: student portraits for every class, many annual school activities. This year will not include Lifetouch portraits, and won’t follow the past pattern.

We are relying entirely on photos submitted by families.

We would love to receive at least one “portrait” photo from each student. These will be on the Classroom pages, with a list of names of all the students in the class/grade.

Brookvale Elementary Virtual Family Music Night

Music For Minors II (MFMII) is providing an opportunity for families to enjoy making music together by offering a FREE Virtual MFMII Family Music Night at Brookvale on March 17th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.. This consists of one hour of musical fun for parents, grandparents and children, and will include singing/signing songs, rhythmic movement/dance, and instrumentation.  Interested parents should sign-up by Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

In Partnership,

Malinda Elliott, Principal
