Pets at School

PETS AT SCHOOL

Dogs/cats are NOT allowed at school on or off leash during school operating hours.    (Municipal Code Ordinance Section 3-5509).

Pets are only allowed at school when teachers request them for a unit of study and students must have the teachers written permission.  Permission must be granted by prior approval of the site Principal.  All pets must be caged when brought to school and the parent must remain in attendance with the pet. Poisonous animals or reptiles are not to be brought to school. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.
